Askar Mamin inspects completion of restoration work in Arys and visits construction sites in Turkistan

In the course of his working trip to the Turkistan region for fulfilling the instructions of the First President – Elbasy Nursultan Nazarbayev and the Head of State Kassym-Jomart Tokayev on the speedy restoration of residential buildings and facilities in Arys, the Prime Minister Askar Mamin inspected the progress of reconstruction in the town and examined the construction sites of administrative, historical, cultural and social buildings in Turkistan.

According to the Ministry of Industry and Infrastructure Development, 99.3% of repair work is currently completed in Arys. 134 construction companies, more than 3.8 thousand workers and 211 special equipments are involved in the work at the facilities.

There are 68 social facilities (educational, health and sports institutions) in Arys, of which 64 are subject to major repairs and 4 – to complete restoration. Currently, work has been completed at 62 sites.

The Head of the Government inspected the repaired building of the Arys-1 railway station and the new square in front of him, visited the restored Arys Mineraldy Su enterprise, reviewed the construction progress of a new microdistrict consisting of 50 semi-detached cottages for 100 families whose housing was completely destroyed. All houses are at the completion stage, work is underway on interior decoration and installation of intra-house equipment. Askar Mamin went into newly built private houses in Arys and talked with their residents.

In Turkistan, the prime minister visited the construction site of the future international airport. The project is being implemented jointly with the Turkish company YDA Holding. The terminal capacity will be 3 million passengers per year. The object is planned to be completed at the end of next year.

The Head of the Government was informed about the progress in the construction of administrative, social, historical and cultural facilities. Askar Mamin inspected the process of erecting the buildings of the akimat, media center, congress hall, Nur-Sultan Square, the Park of the First President, the Olympic Reserve sports school, the music school, the wedding palace, the public services center, as well as the city park with attractions, a musical fountain, amphitheater, construction sites of the historical and cultural center, visit center, Eastern Bath, city Arbat.

During the working trip, the Head of the Government was presented the General Development Plan of Turkistan and acquainted with the ongoing investment projects in the Turkistan region.
