Prime Minister Askar Mamin inspects progress of housing construction in the capital

Prime Minister Askar Mamin inspected the construction progress of social housing in the new metropolitan area under the Nurly Zher program.

Within a few years, housing complexes for 35 thousand apartments with a total area of ​​1.9 million square meters will be built here. Currently, the construction of houses with a living area of ​​200 thousand square meters (4,073 apartments) is underway, more than 1,000 people are involved, the work is carried out in two shifts using advanced developments in the large-panel housing construction industry. The first stage of housing complexes will be commissioned this year.

The Head of Government instructed to carry out all construction work with high quality and commission the facilities on schedule.

For 10 months of 2020, over 2 million m2 of housing were commissioned in Nur-Sultan. By the end of this year, about 8 thousand apartments of affordable housing will be additionally commissioned. Of these, 966 apartments will be purchased for rental housing (616 — for low-income families, 350 for working youth), 1,000 apartments — for teachers, doctors, police officers, firefighters, cultural and sports workers. In 2021, it is planned to commission about 10 thousand social housing apartments in the capital.

In Kazakhstan, by the end of 2020, it is planned to commission 150 thousand dwellings with a total area of ​​15 million square meters. More than 35 thousand families from among socially vulnerable groups of the population, youth, employees of budgetary organizations will provide rental and credit apartments in the Republic of Kazakhstan.
