At the same time, in order to prevent the growth of morbidity, a number of new indicators for monitoring the work of regions have been proposed.

Tugzhanov instructed the Ministry of Healthcare, heads of local executive bodies to keep the epidemiological situation under strict control and to ensure a further decrease in morbidity rates.

The deputy prime minister also instructed the regional authorities to investigate and take action on each fact of late payment of compensation to medical workers affected by the fight against COVID-19.

“There should be no reason for complacency and relaxation. The regions need to improve the efficiency of the monitoring groups. Special efforts should be focused on preventive work with the population, first of all, on observance of the mask regime and social distancing,” Tugzhanov stressed.
