In the manufacturing industry, the IFO grew by 3.3%. The growth was provided by the following industries: paper production, metallurgy, light industry, mechanical engineering, pharmaceuticals and others.

“Positive dynamics continues in the engineering industry. The volume of production in the industry increased by 16.6%. The production of vehicles, trailers and semi-trailers increased by 51.6%, the production of other vehicles — by 100.4%, electrical equipment — by 3.5%, machinery and equipment — by 3%,” Atamkulov said.

In non-ferrous metallurgy, production increased by 2.2% due to an increase in refined gold by 3%, refined copper — by 8%, gold ingots - by 31%, silver in granules — by 27%, primary aluminum — by 1% etc.

In ferrous metallurgy the growth was 0.1%. There was an increase in the production of ferroalloys — by 0.4%, reinforcing bars — by 11%, ferrosilicomanganese — by 9%, commercial output of rebar, balls and round timber — by 3.7%.

In the pharmaceutical industry, production increased by 39.8%.

In light industry, the growth amounted to 14.1% due to an increase in the production of textiles by 6.4%, clothing — by 1% and leather products — by 110.4%.

In the production of paper and paper products, the growth was 15.1%.

The volume index for transport in January-September 2020 amounted to 82.9%. The total volume of container transit traffic increased by 36% compared to the same period last year and amounted to 637.2 thousand TEU.

The volume of freight traffic by all modes of transport amounted to 2.8 billion tons or 92.6% of the previous year.

Despite the negative impact of the pandemic on the transport industry, there is a positive growth in transport development in some areas. Thus, the total number of passengers carried in September 2020 increased by 16.3% compared to August 2020.

The indicator of passenger air transportation increased by 11.5% and amounted to 0.61 million people.

Container traffic in the direction of China - Europe - China increased by 2.2% or 1.1 thousand TEU and amounted to 50.8 thousand TEU.

In the field of freight traffic, there is also an increase, in particular, the total volume of freight traffic in September increased by 0.9% compared to August 2020.

The volume index for construction in January-September 2020 amounted to 110.5%. Growth is ensured by increasing the volume of construction, in connection with the resumption of construction and installation work in the regions. Positive dynamics is observed in 16 regions.

In terms of housing construction, over 9 months, more than 9.6 million m2 of housing were commissioned, which is 109% over the same period in 2019.

To date, a total of 85,418 housing units have been commissioned in the republic. The increase in the volume of housing commissioning in comparison with last year is noted in 14 regions.

“The ministry is taking all necessary measures to implement the tasks set for 2020 in the supervised industries. All planned indicators and indicators will be achieved following the results of the year,” Atamkulov said.

According to the Minister of Agriculture Saparkhan Omarov, following the results of 9 months of this year, the volume of gross agricultural production increased by 5% and amounted to 4.4 trillion tenge.

This growth was mainly due to an increase in crop production by 7%. In the context of the regions, rates higher than the republican ones were noted in two regions.

The volume of gross livestock production for the specified period increased by 2.7% and amounted to 1.9 trillion tenge. At the same time, there is an increase in the production of meat in live weight by 3.8%, milk — by 3.1%.
