Prime Minister Askar Mamin congratulated people of Kazakhstan on Defender of the Fatherland Day.

“I congratulate Kazakhstanis on the Defender of the Fatherland Day!

The defense of the Fatherland has always been a sacred duty and a matter of honor for our people. The history of Kazakhstan from ancient times to the present is full of heroic pages of the struggle for the Fatherland, imperishable examples of courage and patriotism. The glorious traditions of military prowess and honor of our batyr ancestors are multiplied by the Armed Forces of independent Kazakhstan!

Our army showed high combat readiness, effectively solving tasks in the state of emergency – ensuring the operation of roadblocks, the transportation of Kazakhstanis from abroad, the rapid deployment of military field hospitals, etc.

A large and important work during this period is also carried out by soldiers of the National Guard, employees of law enforcement and special state bodies, military servicemen who have called up for military training, and all Kazakhstanis who are doing their duty.
