Prime Minister Askar Mamin visits Akmola region with a working trip

The Prime Minister Askar Mamin visited Akmola region for a working trip, where he reviewed the preparations for the upcoming XVII Forum of Interregional Cooperation between Kazakhstan and Russia to be held in 2020, visited a number of backbone enterprises in the areas of industrialization, housing, and the agro-industrial complex.

At the enterprise for the production of ceramic bricks, ENKI, launched under the Industrialization Map, the head of the Government examined the automated process of technological production and the line of products. The plant annually produces about 60 million units of ceramic bricks. The issue of increasing production to 90 million units was considered.

In the regional center, Askar Mamin visited the new Saryarka microdistrict under construction, on the example of which he got acquainted with the ongoing work to improve the quality and affordability of housing. This year, in the microdistrict, the construction of six multi-apartment residential buildings for 245 apartments has been completed. By 2025, it is planned to ensure the commissioning of 233 multi-apartment residential buildings with an area of ​​1 million square meters, 2 schools, a sports complex.

The prime minister visited the construction site of the new Palace of Childhood and Youth "Bolashak Saraiy," where in 2020 it is planned to hold key events of the XVII Forum of Interregional Cooperation between Kazakhstan and Russia. The building, designed for 1,500 people, consists of two zones —  intellectual and sports development. The reconstruction of several hotel complexes in Kokshetau was also examined.

In the region, the Government head got acquainted with current indicators and plans for the development of roads. The project for the reconstruction of the Schuchinsk-Zerenda road with a length of 80 km has been completed. In general, in the region, construction and repairs to cover over 400 km of local roads are planned.

In the Bulandy and Burabay districts of the Akmola region, the prime minister was informed about the progress in implementing investment projects in the field of agriculture. In 2019, it is planned to implement 10 investment projects for 10.3 billion tenge.

The first stage was launched at the Makinsk poultry farm, with a capacity of 25 thousand tons of chicken meat per year. In 2020, the second phase will be commissioned, which will increase production to 50 thousand tons.

At the enterprise for the cultivation of agricultural crops, Zhuravlevka 1 LLP, the head of the Government was informed of the readiness for harvesting for 74 thousand ha.

Familiarization with the development of the agricultural industry continued during a visit to the meat processing complex, KazBeef Group, for the production of marbled beef. Askar Mamin inspected the production workshop of the enterprise, where in 2019, after the reconstruction, the latest technological solutions for the processing of meat products that meet international quality standards were introduced. The capacity of the enterprise is 120 head of cattle per day or 10 thousand tons of meat per year.

Prime Minister Askar Mamin noted the importance of ensuring a systematic approach to the development of the region’s economy and improving the quality of life of the population. Every effort must be made to achieve the goals set by the First President – Elbasy Nursultan Nazarbayev in strategic documents, and to fulfill the instructions given by the Head of State Kassym-Jomart Tokayev during a working trip to the region. In turn, the holding of the XVII Forum of Interregional Cooperation between Kazakhstan and Russia will give a serious impetus to the development of trade and economic relations between the two countries and will allow to qualitatively expand the range of interaction of business communities.
