Roman Sklyar opens Kazakh-Belarusian business forum in Nur-Sultan

During the opening, Deputy Prime Minister Roman Sklyar expressed gratitude to all participants of the event, and also noted that relations between Kazakhstan and Belarus are developing in all directions and have positive dynamics.

The Kazakh-Belarusian business forum was held as part of the official visit of the President of the Republic of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko to Kazakhstan. The official event was attended by First Deputy Prime Minister of Belarus Alexander Turchin, as well as more than 200 representatives of official and business circles of the two countries.

During the forum, special attention was paid to the further development of trade and economic cooperation between the two countries and the practical aspects of doing business. At the same time, the prospects and challenges facing the business community were discussed, as well as new contacts were established between the business structures of Kazakhstan and Belarus.

Following the forum, the parties signed 15 agreements totaling $75 million in the sectors of engineering, agriculture and pharmaceuticals.

It is important to emphasize that Belarus is one of the leading partners of Kazakhstan on the world stage. From the moment of gaining independence to the present.
