During the governmental hour, Minister of Foreign Affairs of Kazakhstan Erlan Idrissov said that in Kazakhstan building of export policy is not conducted consistently, and added that "it is time when this issue will be shifted from the dead point".

"There was not enough of coherent, systematic and purposeful work on building export policy which is due to lack of understanding of the work, and, probably, weak organization of the private sector," E.Idrissov said.

According to the Minister, success of export policy and promotion of domestic products abroad could be reached primarily in coherence of the work of the private sector.

"He needs to do marketing, explore market, saturation of certain markets, apply to state authorities for support in promotion of products for export," E.Idrissov appealed to the NCE.

Another reason is pecularity of our economy and goods, which Kazakhstan can offer to the world.

"This reduction is mainly dominated by raw materials, and export of raw materials is rather not an intensive task, especially when there is lack of raw materials abroad. Therefore, it is not necessary to carry out such a laborious work in promoting the finished product. Thus, now the government and the PNP strongly thinking about it," E.Idrissov said.

He added that Prime Minister of Kazakhstan Bakytzhan Sagintayev instructed the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Kazakhstan to report on the situation and propose recommendations. Success in this situation, according to E.Idrissov, is to establish a dialogue with the business community through the NPP and forming an algorithm.

"We know very well the world experience; we just need to approach this with a special zeal. I think it is the time to shift this issue from the dead point," E.Idrissov said.

Natural markets of Kazakhstan involve Russia, Central Asian, Afghanistan, Iran and China market.

"China is a big market for our products. Currently, we supply mostly of our commodities: hydrocarbons, metal. Now we expand export of our agricultural products, including processed. There are hints for increasing the quality of our work with China in the nuclear industry. This is all due to expanding opportunities for advancement into the Chinese market our processed products," the Minister concluded.
