Lyazzat Aktayeva appointed Deputy Minister of Healthcare.

“By decree of the Government of the Republic of Kazakhstan №97 dated February 28, 2017, Lyazzat Aktayeva appointed Deputy Minister of Healthcare of the Republic of Kazakhstan,” the statement reads.

She graduated from Almaty State Medical University (1988), in 2003graduated from the Academy of Public Administration under the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan. Doctor of Medical Sciences.

She began her career in 1988 as an obstetrician-gynecologist of maternity hospitals №3 and №15, in Astana.

From 1993 to 1997 – assistant at the department of obstetrics and gynecology at Kazakh National Medical University named after S.D. Asfendiyarov (KazNMU).

From 1997 to 2003 – chief obstetrician-gynecologist of Astana’s Health Department, from 2003 to 2009 worked as Deputy Director of the Department of Health of Astana.

From 2009 to 2015 - advisor to the chairman of the National Medical Holding, Medical Director of the Republican Diagnostic Center, Deputy Director General, Managing Director of the National Research Center of motherhood and childhood, Astana city.

In 2013 she was appointed head of the center of health services of the National healthcare development center of the Ministry of Healthcare, from 2014 to 2015 worked as a Medical Director, director of the “Health City” diagnostic clinic, Astana.

In 2015 was heading the “Management in Healthcare” program by “Almaty Management University" SSS.

From 2015 to 2016 – worked as director of the Department of standardization of health services at the Ministry of Healthcare and Social Development of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

Prior to her appointment she held the post of Deputy Director, director of the Scientific Center for Obstetrics, Gynecology and Perinatology of the Ministry of Healthcare, Almaty city.
