Deputy Minister of Defense and Aerospace Industry Marat Nurguzhin held a number of working meetings in Malaysia.

The meeting with Chief Executive Officer of The Armed Forces Fund Board of Malaysia (LTAT) L.W. Kamaruddin discussed the experience of LTAT, which is the government agency responsible for implementing measures to provide social and legal aid to Armed Forces veterans and their families. This is the construction of social housing, medical, recreational and other cultural facilities, providing financial aid, the conduct of trade operations. “In terms of improving mechanisms providing social aid to servicemen of the Republic of Kazakhstan, this experience is of interest to us,” – Nurguzhin noted.

Also, Deputy Minister M. Nurguzhin met with Deputy Secretary General of the Ministry of Science, Technology and Innovation of Malaysia R. Dambul, Senior Vice-President of the National Agency "CyberSecurityMalaysia" M. Shamir, and Director of the Department of the National Space Agency "ANGKASA" M. Ismail.

“R. Dambul drew attention to the possibilities of expanding cooperation in the aerospace sector and combating cybercrime. As a result of the meeting, we agreed to expand contacts between the national companies of the two countries, and also consider the possibility of signing a memorandum on cooperation between the Ministry of Defense and Aerospace Industry of the Republic of Kazakhstan and the “ANGKASA” National Space Agency of Malaysia,” – M. Nurguzhin said.
