During his working trip to Aktobe region, Prime Minister Bakytzhan Sagintayev visited the city ambulance and emergency medical service, and the ophthalmologic hospital “Koz Zharygy”, which are being constructed within the framework of public-private partnership.

During his visit, Prime Minister was informed that it will provide free round-the-clock emergency medical care to the population with life-threatening conditions both at the scene and along the route, and was also acquainted with the current course of construction.

After that, Bakytzhan Sagintayev visited the ophthalmologic hospital “Koz Zharygy”, where he was reported on the structure, strategy and purpose of the rehabilitation medical center for ophthalmology.

The opening of the hospital is scheduled for November this year. The hospital is designed for 60 beds in the hospital and 250 visits per shift in the clinic. The investors’ contribution to this project exceeds 3 billion tenge. After commissioning, the medical institution will provide outpatient and inpatient highly specialized ophthalmic care for children and adults in the western region of the country.

The Prime Minister was informed on the structure, strategy and purpose of the rehabilitation medical center for ophthalmology.

It should be noted that the Government of the Republic of Kazakhstan is carrying out a large-scale work on forming a modern healthcare system in the country within the framework of implementing the Presidential Address “Third Modernization of Kazakhstan: Global Competitiveness", in which the qualitative development of the human capital is indicated as a prerequisite for economic growth. In this regard, the development and successful implementation of the principles of public-private partnership in the country are of great importance.
