There are many conflicts in today’s world. One of the reasons for their occurrence is the lack of trust. This was said today by Minister of Religious Affairs and Civil Society Nurlan Yermekbayev at the International Conference "Spiritual Revival - the Way of Prosperity and Harmony" organized by the International Association "Peace through Culture".

The international conference has served as a platform for an open dialogue between representatives of the scientific and cultural community, religious leaders and statesmen of different countries. The participants discussed modern problems and challenges of the world community, issues of confronting the contemporary challenges of the world community through spirituality and spiritual revival.

During his speech, Minister Nurlan Yermekbayev noted that many conflicts are taking place in the world today. One of the reasons for their occurrence is a lack of trust. Trust arises only where there is knowledge, understanding of culture and respect for each other's spiritual needs. To this end, new practical measures are needed to involve intellectual and creative elites in the integration processes. Therefore, the Minister noted that holding an annual conference creates an effective platform to help solving this task.

An expanded meeting of the Assembly of the Peoples of Eurasia was held within the framework of the conference, which is and international social movement established this year in Moscow as an instrument of people's diplomacy in developing the ideas of Eurasian integration.

"The President of Kazakhstan is called the ideologist of Eurasianism. The programs, tasks and projects outlined in the article “The Course towards Future: Modernizing Public Consciousness” present interest, including in the context of Eurasian cooperation. In this regard, the program “Contemporary Kazakhstan culture in the global world” is especially relevant ... The "Tughan Zher" program is also as relevant for consideration in the framework of the Assembly’s activities. It focuses on developing a system for patriotic education and civic engagement,” – the Minister said.

According to the Minister, the Assembly - as a movement of non-governmental organizations, should find this direction the most interesting. The Ministry of Religious Affairs and Civil Society is responsible for the pipeline of projects of the "Tughan Zher" program, united under the common name "Atameken". In this connection, Nurlan Yermekbayev invited all interested participants of the Assembly of the Peoples of Eurasia to work in our projects.

Recall, the International event is held as part of the celebration of the Day of Spiritual Harmony in Kazakhstan. The conference was attended by well-known creative and scientific figures: Olzhas Suleimenov, Iosif Kobzon, Tolegen Mukhamedzhanov, Valeriya Porokhova, as well as leaders of religious associations and representatives of non-governmental organizations.
