On the instructions of the Head of the State, the Prime Minister of the Republic of Kazakhstan arrived in Mangystau region for a working visit, to get acquainted with the progress in implementing state programs and the objectives of the Address “The Third Modernization of Kazakhstan: Global Competitiveness”, as well as measures to develop the transport and logistics potential, the social infrastructure of the region and business support. Bakytzhan Sagintayev arrived in Aktau after participating in the work of EAEU Intergovernmental Council, held in Yerevan (Armenia).

It is expected that within the framework of the working visit, Bakytzhan Sagintayev will hold a meeting with the public and the region's activists on topical issues of the region's development, as well as a meeting with members of the Regional Council of NCE Atameken on the development of small and medium-sized businesses.

In addition, the Prime Minister of the Republic of Kazakhstan will get acquainted with the operation of the ferry complex in the village of Kuryk and the second phase of the construction of the complex; he will also visit social infrastructure facilities and industrial enterprises.

Upon arrival in the region, on the evening of October 25, Bakytzhan Sagintayev visited a dormitory in one of Aktau’s microdistricts, built within the framework of the regional program "Zhana Serpin", which is aimed at providing young specialists with housing and facilitating the labor mobility of the unemployed.

After that, the Prime Minister of the Republic of Kazakhstan visited the multi-field clinic Sophi Med Group LLP, which was built with the support of the state within the framework of the Business Roadmap 2020 program, which currently provides services in numerous general and narrow medical fields.
