The Ministry of Religious Affairs and Civil Society and the National Chamber of Entrepreneurs “Atameken” have signed a cooperation agreement during the first National tripartite cooperation forum “ASAR”.

The aim of the cooperation is to promote the further development of civil society institutions in the Republic of Kazakhstan through consolidation of efforts in the implementation of tasks and functions in the arrangement of effective interaction of business entities and their associations (unions) with non-profit organizations.

Cooperation can be implemented by exchanging information, sending recommendations, analytical reviews, presentations, concluding agreements, contracts, protocols, resolutions and other documents. Along with that, such forms of interaction can be used as the organization of projects, seminars, conferences, round tables and briefings.

The cooperation agreement was signed by Abzal Nukenov, Deputy Minister of Religious Affairs and Civil Society of the Republic of Kazakhstan and Eldar Zhumagaziyev, Deputy Chairman of the Board of NCE Atameken.

In addition, 10 memorandums were signed within the framework of the forum between business structures and NGOs to implement joint social projects. It was noted that these agreements and memoranda will strengthen the partnership between NGOs and business.

Recall, the two-day National forum "ASAR" is taking place in Atyrau. It was organized by the Ministry of Religious Affairs and Civil Society of the Republic of Kazakhstan, the National Chamber of Entrepreneurs of Kazakhstan "Atameken" and the Akimat of Atyrau region. The forum is partnered by Chevron, Tengizchevroil, Raimbek Group LLP, Kazakhstan Youth Congress, NGO "The Choice of Young Atyrau" and NJSC "Center for Support of Civil Initiatives".
