On November 28, the city of Minsk hosted a meeting of Minister of Information and Communication Dauren Abayev and the Director of the Belarus High Technologies Park, Vsevolod Yanchevsky.

The parties considered the prospects for developing start-up ecosystems and venture capital institutions of the two countries, discussed the possibility of creating a subcommission on digital economy development. It is planned that the subcommittee will be established within the framework of the Kazakhstan-Belarus Intergovernmental Commission on Trade and Economic Cooperation.

In addition, the parties separately discussed mutual agreements on the exchange of practical experience in the use of blockchain technology and its legal regulation.

The meeting resulted in the signing of an agreement on cooperation between the countries in the field of new and high technologies.
