First Deputy Minister of Defence and Chief of General Staff of the Armed Forces of the Republic of Kazakhstan Lieutenant-General Murat Maykeyev inspected the military bases of the Almaty, Kapshagay and Saryozek garrisons.       

The main purpose of the trip was to check the progress of combat training. The Commission visited training fields and training grounds, where classes are conducted in accordance with fields of study. In addition, the troops and military units of the Kapshagay garrison were put on high alert, followed by a march to designated areas.

Following the inspection, the Chief of the General Staff commended the training and coordination of the units, and gave tasks to increase the combat readiness of troops and further improve combat training.

In addition, the main provisions of the President's Address to the people of Kazakhstan "New Development Opportunities in the Context of the Fourth Industrial Revolution" and a new housing provision mechanism for servicemen were explained to the troops within the framework of the working visit.
