Today in Ukimet Uyi, Prime Minister Bakytzhan Sagintayev held a meeting on the development of e-healthcare in the framework of the Digitalization Program.

The meeting focused on issues of implementing the e-healthcare system in four segments: health improvement and disease prevention, early detection of diseases, medical care, disease management and rehabilitation. The development of digital healthcare will be patient-oriented and will allow to ensure the transition to paperless management of medical data and medical documents, it will allow doctors to make swift clinical decisions thanks to electronic access to up-to-date patient data, the time of doctor's appointments will be reduced by 50-60% and the time of obtaining the results of checkups will halve.

For reference: To date, the share of digitalization in healthcare organizations is 76.4%. By 01/01/2019, it is planned to bring this figure to 100% (including at the level of regional centers).

Doctors and nurses are 82.8% equipped with computer hardware. By the end of 2021 it is planned to bring this figure to 100%. Internet access is available to 51.0% of health organizations. By the end of 2021 it is planned to bring this figure to 100%.
