Prime Minister of the Republic of Kazakhstan Bakytzhan Sagintayev held a meeting on the development of SMEs, manufacturing industry and the digitization of entrepreneurship.

During the meeting, measures were discussed to further nurture favorable conditions for doing business, increase competitiveness, including through interaction with digital technologies. In addition, the Prime Minister drew attention to the current situation and prospects for the development of manufacturing industry in the country.

The agenda was elaborated upon by the Ministers of National Economy T. Suleimenov, Investments and Development Zh. Kassymbek and Chairman of the Board of the National Chamber of Entrepreneurs "Atameken" A. Myrzakhmetov.

First Deputy Prime Minister of the Republic of Kazakhstan A. Mamin, Deputy Prime Minister of the Republic of Kazakhstan E. Dossaev also took part in the discussion.

Today, more than 50 support tools are available to businesses that are implemented under various state and government support programs. A strong system of institutional support for entrepreneurship has been established, such as business service centers, public service centers, investor service centers, business support centers, etc. According to the latest statistical data, 1 569 030 SMEs were registered in the Republic as of June 1, and in comparison with the same period of 2017, growth amounted to 34 194 entities or 2.2%.
