Today in Ukimet Uyi, Prime Minister of the Republic of Kazakhstan Bakytzhan Sagintayev held a meeting with representatives of the Royal Dutch Shell Group led by Mr. Andy Brown, Upstream Director at Royal Dutch Shell.

The discussion covered several issues of Shell’s activities in Kazakhstan, including in the framework of projects for the development of the Karachaganak and Northern Caspian fields.

In Kazakhstan, the English-Dutch energy company Shell is involved in four projects: the Production Sharing Agreement for the Northern Caspian Sea, the Final Production Sharing Agreement for the Karachaganak field, the Production Sharing Agreement for the development of the Pearls license block and the Caspian Pipeline Consortium.

The company operates in various business segments, including geological exploration, oil and gas production, transportation of hydrocarbons and marketing of petroleum products.
