The draft law "On Electricity" is withdrawn from the Parliament for improvement with the Eurasian integration.

It was announced by Energy Minister Vladimir Shkolnik while answering journalists' questions during the Senate’s plenary session.

"Now, at the suggestion of deputies, we are withdrawing, and the Government agreed, the Law" On Electric Power Industry. "Those amendments that are being introduced and power market - in fact, a very complex issue, and it will be closely linked to the fact that, in accordance with our common Eurasian Economic Union, according to signed documents, we will need to combine our electricity markets by 2019," Vladimir Shkolnik said.

According to him, the bill will be improved taking into account the integration processes.
