First Deputy Prime Minister Bakytzhan Sagintayev has met with the head of the European Union Delegationto Kazakhstan Aurelia Bouchez and representatives of diplomatic missions of nineteen countries of the EU in Ukimet Uiy today.

Main provisions of formation and functioning of the Eurasian Economic Union were presented at the meeting.

The parties also exchanged views on development of the Eurasian Economic Union, including establishment of the EEU Court, formation of common markets, ratification of the EEUTreaty, joining Armenia and Kyrgyzstan to the EEU, as well as possible cooperation of the EEU and the EU.

Following the meeting, the sides noted that Kazakhstan and European Union are strategic partners and expressed readiness to expand mutually beneficial cooperation.
