Prime Minister of the Republic of Kazakhstan

 

 

Bakytzhan Sagintayev was born on October 13, 1963 in Talas district of Zhambyl region.

He graduated from the Kazakh State University, candidate of economic sciences.

He began his career as a teacher in the political economy department of the Almaty Institute of National Economy.

In 1988-1992, he worked in the Kazakh State University and advanced in his career from assistant to assistant professor of the sociology department.

From 1992 to 1998 he was in business.

In 1998, he was appointed Deputy Governor of Zhambyl region.

In 1992-2002, he held the post of the Deputy Chairman of the Agency for Small Business Support, Deputy Chairman of the Agency for Regulation of Natural Monopolies, Competition Protection and Small Business Support of Kazakhstan.

In 2002-2004, he served as the First Deputy Chairman of the Agency for Regulation of Natural Monopolies and Competition Protection of Kazakhstan.

From 2004 to 2007, he chaired the Agency for Regulation of Natural Monopolies of Kazakhstan.

In 2007-2008, B.Sagintayev headed the Prime Minister’s Office of Kazakhstan.

On September 30, 2008, he was appointed Governor of Pavlodar region.

On January 20, 2012, he was appointed Minister of Economic Development and Trade of Kazakhstan.

On September 24, 2012, he became First Deputy Head of “Nur Otan” National Democratic Party.

On January 16, 2013, by the Decree of the President he was appointed First Deputy Prime Minister – Minister of Regional Development of Kazakhstan.

B.Sagintayev was awarded “Kurmet”, "Parasat" orders and anniversary medals.

He is an author of a number of scientific works, publications on state regulation of the natural monopolies, small and medium business development.

B.Sagintayev is married and has two children.

 

First Deputy Prime Minister of the Republic of Kazakhstan

 

 

Askar Mamin graduated from the Tselinograd Engineering and Construction Institute, the Plekhanov Russian University of Economics, faculties of civil engineering, economics.

He began his career as assembler at “Tselintyazhstroy” trust, and worked as the Deputy CEO of the union of innovative enterprises of Kazakhstan.

From 1996 to 2008 – First Deputy Akim of Astana city, Deputy Minister of Transport and Communications of Kazakhstan, First Deputy Minister of Industry and Trade of Kazakhstan, Minister of Transport and Communications of Kazakhstan, Akim of Astana city.

From April 2008 -President of “National Company «Kazakhstan Temir Zholy” JSC, since April .2008 -  elected as members of the Board of Directors of “NC “Kazakhstan Temir Zholy” JSC.

In September 2016 he was appointed First Deputy Prime Minister of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

Askar Mamin awarded medal “Eren Enbegi ushin”- 1998, “Kurmet" order - 2006, “Barys” order of the second degree - 2011, the Order of the Honourable Legion of the French Republic - 2013, the Order of first degree “For civil merits” of the Kingdom of Spain - 2014. Erbolat Dossaev was born in 1970 in the city of Alma-Ata.

In 1987 he graduated from the Republic’s Physics and Mathematics Boarding School in Alma-Ata.

He graduated from Almaty Energy Institute, Bauman Moscow State Technical University.

In 1997, he held the position of Deputy Chairman of the Board of Bank TuranAlem CJSC, Chairman of the Board of ATF Bank CJSC;

In 1998 he was advisor to the Prime Minister of the Republic of Kazakhstan;

In 1998 he held the post of Deputy Minister of Energy, Industry and Trade of the Republic of Kazakhstan;

In 2000 he was Deputy Minister of Finance of the Republic of Kazakhstan;

In 2001, he chaired the Board of Directors of the Development Bank of Kazakhstan;

In 2001-2003, held the position of Chairman of the Agency of the Republic of Kazakhstan on Regulation of Natural Monopolies, Protection of Competition and Support of small business;

In 2003-2004, held the positions of Minister of Finance of the Republic of Kazakhstan; Director of the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD) in Kazakhstan; Member of the Board of the National Bank of the Republic of Kazakhstan;

In 2004-2006, was Minister of Healthcare of the Republic of Kazakhstan;

In 2006-2012, was Chairman of the Board of Directors of KazInvestBank JSC;

Since September 25, 2012 – Minister of Economic Development and Trade of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

Since January 16, 2013 – Minister of Economy and Budget Planning of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

On August 6, 2014, by the Decree of the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan (No. 880), he was appointed Minister of National Economy of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

On April 30, 2015, by the Decree of the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan (No. 5) was reappointed Minister of National Economy of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

In 2016-2017, was head of the Baiterek national holding company.

Askar Zhumagaliyev was born in 1972 in the Orenburg region of the RSFSR.

He graduated from the Sverdlovsk Suvorov Military School.

Later, he graduated from the Kazakh National Technical University (Alma-Ata) with a major in Radio Communication, Broadcasting, and Television.

He received a second degree in law in the Kazakh Humanitarian Law University.

He received his Master's degree in electronic management at the École polytechnique fédérale de Lausanne.

In 1996-1998, he held the post of Director General of Zharyk LLP;

In 1998-1999, was sector leader of the Ministry of Transport and Communications of the Republic of Kazakhstan;

In 1999-2000, was chief specialist, Head of the Transport Control Committee of the Ministry of Transport and Communications of the Republic of Kazakhstan;

In 2000, was head of the RSE "Republic’s Center for Billing of Telecommunication Traffic";

In 2001-2003, headed the State Communications Supervision Department, Deputy Chairman of the Committee for Communications and Informatization of the Republic of Kazakhstan;

In 2003-2005, was Deputy Chairman of the Agency of the Republic of Kazakhstan for Informatization and Communication;

In 2004-2005, he was acting Chairman of the Agency of the Republic of Kazakhstan for Informatization and Communication;

Minister of Defence of the Republic of Kazakhstan

 

 

 

He was born on October 25, 1957 in Chaldar village, South Kazakhstan region.

In 1978 Saken Zhasuzakov graduated from Almaty Higher Military Command School. He passed all stages of military service - from lieutenant to general, making a worthy contribution to formation and development of the Armed Forces of the Republic, as well as to strengthening of the defense capability of independent Kazakhstan.

September 1987 - June 1990 - he was a student of the Frunze Military Academy, then held a position of Chief of Staff - Deputy Head of Civil Defense of Alatau district of Almaty.

In July 1994 he entered the Military Academy of the General Staff of the Russian Armed Forces.

In 1996, after graduating from the Academy, he was Deputy Chief of Staff of the Armed Forces of the Republic of Kazakhstan. He headed Department of operational planning, then served as Deputy Chief of General Staff of the Armed Forces of Kazakhstan for operations, then Chief of Staff of the Army Corps, and later - Commander of Mobile Forces.

In September 2003 he was appointed Chief of Staff - First Deputy Commander of Land Forces of the Armed Forces of the Republic of Kazakhstan, then Commander of the Regional Command "Vostok".

Since April 2007 - First Deputy Chairman of the Committee of Chiefs of Staff of Defense of Kazakhstan.

In April 2009, the Order of the Head of State appointed the Chief of the Land Forces of the Armed Forces of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

From March 2010 + First Deputy Minister of Defense - Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff of the Ministry of Defence of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

Since January 2013, First Deputy Minister of Defence - Chief of General Staff of the Armed Forces of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

September 13, 2016 by the Presidential Decree appointed as Minister of Defense of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

Saken Zhasuzakov was awarded orders "Red Star", "For Service to Motherland in the USSR Armed Forces" of the third degree, "Dank" of the second degree, "St. Alexander Nevsky" of the second degree and 21 medals - anniversary and for excellent service. From October 1981 to October 1983 he took part in military operations in Afghanistan. In 1993-1994 he participated in peacekeeping mission in Tajikistan.

In 1986 he graduated from Kazakh Polytechnic Institute named after V.Lenin, metallurgical engineer; In 2000 he graduated from St. Petersburg State University of Economics and Finance, Candidate of Economic Sciences. 1985 – founder smelter of the Norilsk Mining and Metallurgical Combine named after A.P. Zavenyagin. 1986 – founder, master, senior master of the refining plant, chief engineer of CBD, chief engineer, deputy chief of EER of the Chimkent lead plant. 1991-2006 – worked in private sector – in the leadership of the industrial enterprises. 2006 – Counsellor, Minister Counsellor of the Embassy of the Republic of Kazakhstan to the Russian Federation. 2007 – Minister-Counsellor of the Embassy of the Republic of Kazakhstan in Iran. 2008 – Consul General of the Republic of Kazakhstan in Frankfurt Mayne. 2010 – Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary Ambassador of Kazakhstan to Malaysia, the Republic of Indonesia, Brunei Darussalam, the Republic of the Philippines. 2012 – Executive Secretary of the Ministry of Industry and New Technologies of the Republic of Kazakhstan. 2014 – Executive Secretary of the Ministry of Investments and Development of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
