June 15, the Prime Minister of Kazakhstan Askar Mamin visited Akmola region with a working trip.
The prime minister familiarized himself with the measures taken to achieve the strategic goals set by the First President – Elbasy Nursultan Nazarbayev, and the fulfillment of the instructions of the Head of State Kassym-Jomart Tokayev on the socio-economic development of the region.
Mamin visited the agricultural machinery construction enterprise — Kazakhstan Agro Innovation Corporation LLP. Today, the plant produces 1,500 pieces of equipment per year. In the future, it is expected to increase the capacity from 1,500 to 5,000 agricultural machinery pieces per year and create more than 400 jobs.
The prime minister examined the work of the joint Kazakh-Russian machine-building enterprise KAMAZ-Engineering. In the near future, the plant plans to reach a production volume of 2,500 products per year.
Askar Mamin also inspected the work on the “economy of simple things” project. Since the early 2019, Dva Kita LLP has produced 12.7 thousand pieces of furniture. Among the plans are the expansion of the line and an increase in production.
In addition, the prime minister was reported on the ongoing work on the development of transport and energy infrastructure of the city. Along with this, the project of the embankment improvement on Lake Kopa, located within the city of Kokshetau, was introduced.
A working meeting chaired by the prime minister was held on the issues of socio-economic development, as well as preparation for the upcoming XVII Forum of Interregional Cooperation of Kazakhstan and Russia in 2020, implementation of the Shchuchinsk-Borovoe resort area development plan, the special project “Aul – El Besіgі" and the development of the outskirts of the capital. Following the meeting, Mamin gave a number of specific instructions.
