Prime Minister Askar Mamin paid an official visit to the Kingdom of the Netherlands on Oct. 30, 2019.

  • As part of his official visit, Askar Mamin met with the Prime Minister of the Netherlands Mark Rutte. During the meeting, prospects for further building up trade, economic and investment cooperation, cooperation in the energy, financial, transport and logistics, agricultural, IT and scientific fields were discussed.
  • The prime ministers of the Republic of Kazakhstan and the Kingdom of the Netherlands attended the opening of the V Kazakhstan-Netherlands Business Forum.
  • Within the framework of the forum, five documents on cooperation between Kazakh and Dutch companies were signed.
  • The prime minister of Kazakhstan met with the Upstream Director of Shell Exploration and Production Wael Sawan, founder and president of Bitfury Valery Vavilov, Senior Vice President of SuezGroup Timothée Cargill, Chairman of the Board of Farm Frites Piet de Bruijne, Chairman of DutchFruit Solutions S. Walraven.
  • The prime minister visited the World Horti Center, a center for knowledge and innovation for international greenhouse gardening.
  • In addition, Mamin got acquainted with the activities of Hardt Hyperloop, a company developing a new transport system, Hyperloop, which allows shuttle capsules to travel through lightweight steel pipes at speeds up to 1,000 km / h.
