  • July 16-17, 2019, the Prime Minister of Kazakhstan Askar Mamin made a working trip to Mangystau region and took part, together with his Uzbek counterpart Abdulla Aripov, in the opening of the Beineu – Akzhigit – Uzbekistan Border highway.

  • In Mangystau region, Askar Mamin visited a number of innovative industrial enterprises, familiarized himself with the implementation of infrastructure projects, the development of a green economy, renewable energy sources, construction and reconstruction of roads in the region, and the progress of construction of new cultural and tourist facilities.
  • During a visit to the Schlumberger Megabase, the head of the Government of Kazakhstan familiarized himself with new production and service facilities for servicing oil fields, visited the Caspi Bitumen JV, which specializes in the production of high-quality road bitumen.
  • During the visit to the Caspian desalination plant, the prime minister heard the report on the second stage of the plant's modernization, which envisages an increase in the production of drinking water to 40,000 m³ / day.
  • Mamin visited the construction sites of the new tourist complex and the cultural center of Abish Kekilbayev, and also examined the modern hotel complex on the Caspian Sea coast, designed for 800 beds with all the necessary infrastructure for tourists.
