Kairat Rakhimov appointed vice minister of energy of the Republic of Kazakhstan

By the resolution of the Government of the Republic of Kazakhstan dated Feb. 21, 2020, Rakhimov Kairat Bolatovich was appointed vice minister of energy of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

Kairat Rakhimov was born in 1985 in the Karaganda region, the city of Temirtau.

He graduated from Karaganda State Technical University, Karaganda Economic University of Kazpotrebsoyuz and Seoul National University.

He began his career in 2006 as an electrician in Karaganda-Zharyk LLP, Karaganda.

From 2007 to 2015, he was an expert, chief expert, head of department at the Agency for the Regulation of Natural Monopolies and at the Ministry of Energy of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

From 2015 to 2018, he was deputy director of the Department of Electricity and Coal Industry of the Ministry of Energy of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

From July 2018, he has been director of the Department of Electric Power of the Ministry of Energy of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
