In terms of the number of tests carried out for KVI, Kazakhstan ranks 47th out of 222 countries of the world. Today, 3 regions remain in the red zone (Kostanay, Pavlodar and North Kazakhstan). Four regions are in the yellow zone (Karaganda, Akmola regions, the cities of Almaty and Nur-Sultan). The other 10 regions are in the green zone. The reproductive number is 0.90.

Vaccination of the population against CVI continues. “According to the recommendations of the Advisory Commission on Immunization of the Population of the Republic of Kazakhstan, approaches to revaccination of the population were previously reported. The revaccination will start on Nov. 22 in 2 stages,” the head of the department said.

Considering that first of all, people from the risk group were vaccinated, then, accordingly, until the end of this year, taking into account the timing of primary vaccination, vulnerable groups of the population (health workers, teachers, personnel and contingent of local self-government bodies, closed children's institutions, employees of law enforcement agencies) are subject to revaccination.
