Updated mobile application mGov to be launched in August 2019

During the press conference in the Government, the Vice Minister of Digital Development, Innovation and Aerospace Industry Ablaikhan Ospanov reported that it is planned to introduce the updated mobile application mGov in August 2019. The list of services available in the mobile application will be updated weekly.

To date, 21 new services have been implemented in the mGov mobile application, the total number has reached 77.

“This application should be an indispensable tool for obtaining public services. The updated mobile application mGov will be provide the most popular public services. It will also be possible to use Face ID for authorization and signing a request for public services,” the vice minister informed.

Since December 2018, a pilot project has been launched in the cities of Nur-Sultan and Almaty (4 front-offices have been involved) for obtaining public services in the PSC using biometric data (face and fingerprint recognition), where about 15 thousand service recipients and provided over 3,400 public services.

The list of services is being expanded, including with the possibility of signing by Mobile ID.

Ospanov also reported that by means of the @EgovKzBot bot in Telegram messenger, 25 types of the most popular services and services are currently available. This is an address certificate, a certificate of the absence (presence) of real estate, certificates from psycho-, drug, and tuberculosis dispensaries, online queue booking, making an appointment with a doctor, etc.

The telegram bot is a robot that issues services in minutes and sends the result to the recipient in a chat and to his email.

About 400 thousand users of the telegram-bot @EgovKzBot have already received more than 600 thousand public services. Work on increasing services by @EgovKzBot and one-time passwords continues. Today, confirmation of the request with one-time passwords is available for 51 public services.
