May 5, 2020, the Prime Minister of Kazakhstan Askar Mamin paid a working visit to the Karaganda region, where he checked the progress in the implementation of the State Program of Industrial and Innovative Development, Nurly Zhol, Nurly Zher and the Employment Roadmap.
The Head of Government visited the Saryarka Special Economic Zone, where he launched the first stage of the cartridge plant Steel Manufacturing LLP.
Mamin also got acquainted with the activities of the refractory materials production plant of Seven Refractories Asia LLP.
The prime minister visited the association of foundries of Qaz Carbon LLP.
The head of government inspected the implementation of projects for the repair and construction of road, housing and social infrastructure in Karaganda.
Mamin visited the Global City Wholesale Distribution Center.
The prime minister took part in the signing of an agreement on the production of buses and special vehicles of the Yutong brand.
The head of government familiarized himself with the reconstruction of the Karaganda-Balkhash highway.
In Balkhash, Mamin familiarized himself with the construction of social housing as part of the Nurly Zher program, as well as with the project to reconstruct the airport and increase the tourist potential of the region.
The head of government also visited the Balkhash smelter of Kazakhmys Smelting LLP.
